What is this course for?
Dive Against Debris empowers divers to clean up underwater environments and contribute directly to citizen science.
You learn how to safely collect marine trash underwater, record survey data, and submit reports to the global PADI AWARE database.

LEARN
Understand the marine-debris problem, survey method and the judgement involved in deciding what should be removed.

SURVEY
Complete a Dive Against Debris survey dive while maintaining normal buddy, buoyancy and environmental awareness.
03
REPORT
Sort and record the debris, then submit the survey data so the dive contributes to the wider dataset.
