What is this course for?

PADI Divemaster is the acclaimed first step into professional diving (Junior DM for ages 15–17 as a non-supervisory development track).

Prerequisites: PADI Rescue Diver, EFR Primary/Secondary Care within 24 months, 40 logged dives to start (60 to certify). You master dive theory, waterskills, briefing, site management, and student supervision.

What you'll learn

  • Master professional dive theory (physics, physiology, gear, environment, RDP/decompression).
  • Demonstrate 24 core scuba skills to exemplary, demonstration-quality standards.
  • Plan, map, brief, and lead certified diver group dives safely in diverse conditions.
  • Assist PADI Instructors with student divers in confined and open water sessions.
  • Build professional risk management, customer service, and dive operation leadership.

Work through workshops and practical assessments that place you alongside real or simulated dive operations and student-diver activities.
