What is this course for?
Wreck Diver opens the door to fascinating underwater history.
You learn how to research, map, and survey wreck sites responsibly, navigate external structures safely, and understand penetration limits while preserving marine history and marine habitats.
What you'll learn

- Survey and map shipwreck layouts, structural stability, and points of interest.
- Use specialised wreck equipment, search lines, reels, and high-intensity lights.
- Practice propulsion techniques (frog kick, modified flutter) to avoid silt disturbance.
- Plan and execute wreck exploration dives within recreational safety boundaries.

Learn how to assess a wreck, research its significance and identify the hazards that shape the dive plan.

Develop wreck-specific navigation, mapping and control skills while remaining outside or within the limits of the training being conducted.

Apply the planning and control skills across four training dives while maintaining responsible wreck-diving practices.
